Happy Birthday, Wayne

Three days later will be Wayne's birthday. However, he decided to celebrate it a few days earlier because we all can celebrate late on the weekend, but mainly, he can spend the precious moment with his Siamese hubby on the actual day.

Anyway, yesterday morning, me, Thim and CP went to Gurney Plaza to shop for his gifts. Then, we went to CosPlus to get him something else and then, we went to One-stop to get him another something else too....and then, we also went to Jenny to get him a Mango Chocolate birthday cake.

(ESPRIT)
Oh yeah, I got myself a new watch too. whahaha. I really like it. Been searching for so long and finally found something I really like. So, just grabbed it ! :-) Its not expensive anyway, am not the kind of person who would simply spend money you know. But, sometimes I do mistake too. whahaha

Back to the topic, by 8pm, we all gathered at the Chili's at Gurney Plaza. This was the first time I was there. The place is kinda nice. Even it was full of people, as usual, but you will still feel very comfortable with the place. Its not noisy too.

After we have made our orders, and about half and hour of waiting, we decided to ask Wayne to open the presents. Well, he seemed happy with the presents. Just hope that he actually like it and find it useful; especially the webcam , wink wink ;-) Like what he said, hope he will be much prettier than what he is now by end of the year by using the facial products that we bought him. kekeke.

About 15min later, the foods finally served. The Citrus Fire Chicken and Prawn that I ordered was yummy. The prawn, nice ! The chicken, nice ! The vege, nice ! The fried rice, nice !! The Ice lemon tea, nice and bottomless !!! This was the first time I actually finished all the things in my plate at Western restaurant. This is because most the western restaurant serves butter fried rice and vege, which I cannot take. It was worth for the wait. 4 stars ****

After the dinner, suddenly we heard the staffs singing "Happy Birthday" and slowly they walked toward our table with the cake we brought. What a surprised !! Then we sang along. It was a very thoughtful service as it would seems awkward if just us singing in the public.

During our cake, out of no where, someone suddenly mentioned about the games we used to play during our childhood. Then, each of us trying to recall and named a few....such as bak ku li, seven stones, la la li tak tam pong, kite, T-square box jump with one leg, sap por, AEIOU, flighting fish, rubber seed, 4 wheels skate, join hand cards and rope jumping(mai mai, mai de kao, su su, su le mi).... & many many more. It really freshen up our memories. It is sad that children nowadays doesn't seem to know these games anymore. All they know is computer games. Well, generation gap. We are old. Damn it !!

Well, after dinner at around 10.30pm, we just called it the night due to it was too full for any of us going for the next round, either coffee or liquor. Anyway, it was a nice and fun dinner. It has been quite sometimes I have not laugh so hard.

p/s : CP said he liked to play the card dolls which you can change the dolls' clothes when he was a kid. Hmmm... not sure whether he is still playing now......

p/s 2: The cake was yummy. Jenny never failed us. Well done, Jen !! Again, 4 stars ****

p/s 3: There was a nanah joke made by me, but it was too disgusting & gross to put it on blog. So, I will just give it a miss. whahaha.

p/s 4: He called during the dinner.

my generation shared half of the kids' games you mentioned, and half computer games. What a transition! =.="
