Cup Cake 4 you :)

Today, while reading newspaper, one news really caught my attention. It was about two young lady in their 23yo, from Penang, selling cupcakes through internet. It is not just an ordinary cupcakes, but they deco the cupcakes with all type of stuffs such as animals, faces, letter & etc. It is very creative and cute. Not only kids will like it but I bet adult, boy or gal, young or old will also love their works.

Bravo gals, good job you guys have done there. Now, we can have more alternative on our normal and boring cake for all kind of celebration, such as birthday, anniversary or even for wedding. Despite whether it actually taste good or not, the outlook of the cupcakes has definitely worth all the money back.

I showed it to my colleagues, and one of them instantly said she will definitely order for her daughter's birthday which fall on December and another one planning to have it for his wedding ceremony on Nov.

The price is kinda reasonable too or I would rather say its actually quite cheap, 25 minis for only RM30 or 49minis for RM55. Just with some thought, passion, creativeness and hard work, I bet there is many ways to earn money.

Last night, watching a Taiwan talk show, the topic is something about the "Unbelievable Things" (不可思議的事), and they invited reporters, artists, and "master" (法師) to share their creepy stories.

One of the stories is about the Late Taiwanese artist Hsu Wei Lun (許瑋倫), who passed away last year in an car accident. So, what so creepy or unbelievable about that ? Here you go..

1) The date she died was 28th January.....which the number is 128
2) There was a book they found in the car called "Dead Note" (死亡日記)
3) The time when they picked up the book, it was on page 128
4) The Japanese lead actor of the "Dead Note" was also passed away on January 28th few years back.
5) Hsu Wei Lun herself used to publish a book and in the book, she mentioned that if she die one day, she wished to be a romantic one. This was written on page 128.
6) Her assistant (助理), who was also the driver that day, her house number is 128.

So, do u think the number 128 is just a coincident or it has meant to be ?

There is another creepy story I read on the net, which I think its kinda creepy. it goes something like....

In Taiwan, a group of friends went to sing Karaoke at a KTV. They has selected a song called, "Say love you" (說愛妳) from Jolin (蔡依林), but the song didn't show up. Thus, they selected again and again and again, still the song just didn't seem to play until they finally given up to sing that song.

When they were about to leave the KTV room, only then the monitor showing the song "Say love you"....but only with the parts "你～沒～發現我～躲在角落～＂( You didn't notice that I am hiding at the corner)


Ahhhh....imagine if you were there..... what would you react ?

I am sure most of us has once think of when we will going to die, so that you can plan what to do or what you want to achieve before you die; even think of how you going to die.... Good news !! Now you can check the date you die with the death clock link below. Haha.

Errr....for me, it said that I will die on Tuesday, 11th January 2039. Hmmm...31 years to go. Ahh...I will die in age of 64yo. Its pretty much of how I've planned it actually. LOL.

I used to tell my friends that I don't want to live too long life, 60 yo something might be just nice. Don't get me wrong, not that I don't like myself or my life, but you know, "People Like Us" most probably will be ending up alone, and I don't want to be eaten by my pet when I die at home, where no one even notice. Hahaha.

Secondly, I don't want to be an old, annoy, nag and burden to the people around me. Last but not least, I wanna look gorgeous still the day I die. kekeke.

A little crash ?

Last week, while I came out from a customer place at Prai, I bumped into a cute and adorable guy. He is in his early 20's I guess. Fair, gentle yet straight look, slightly taller than me, a bit meaty, and kind of a guy next door type. I just can't keep my eyes off him.

While I walked toward my car & he walked into the customer place, our eyes kind of "meet" and we kind of "smile" to each other. We both turned around at the same time and looked at each other again when we walked passed each other.

Well, I just took it normal like we sometimes see some gorgeous guy or even pretty lady on the road. It cheers your day but nothing big deal. I kind of forgot about him after that.

About a week later, at the same place, we met again. It was really a surprise. That time,I was waiting at the guard house at my customer place, and suddenly I saw him walking toward the me. From his expression, I can tell that he was kind of "surprise" too when he saw me. (Hmmm...maybe he is shocked, not surprise. LOL ) But then, there was a gentle smile on his face.

I think I was a bit over as I just kept looking at him while he was walking toward the guard house. Luckily, he didn't seem any uncomfortable, or annoyed or unhappy with it and still keep his sweet, shy and friendly smile on his face while he is looking at me. (Perhaps that's why I dare to keep looking ) My mind was empty and nothing I can think of.

He registered at the guard house and then walked into the factory. A few times, he turned around to look at me too. Me, still like a pervert, standing there looking at him. (Not sure whether the guard notice that. LOL).

When he finally disappeared from my sight, I thought to myself, what a coincident that we met twice in a week. But then, when will we bumped into each other again ? I am such an idiot that I should at least talk to him and exchange name card (pretending like knowing a supplier) or at least get his phone number for a start.

His images keep popping in my mind from time to time and I think of him a lot these few days. What a crash. I told myself that if we happen to meet again, I will make the first move and talk to him. Yesterday, I purposely went to the same place we met twice and hoping to bump into him again. But no luck, even I've waiting about two hours. Kind of disappointed.

Today, I went there again, but this time is because of business issue. Still I was hoping I can bump into him. Yet, no sight of him. :-( Another disappointment. Sigh......

Actually, the first time I looked at him, he kind of reminding me of J. Maybe both of them have the same criteria that I like in a person. Well, guess we are not able to meet again.....Hai....another crash that fading away. Hope I will get over it soon.....or should I hope to meet him again soon ? Errrr..... either.

Busy weekend

20th Sep 2008, morning, 8.30am. My friend, Thim came to pick me, then David and we go to Pulau Tikus market for breakfast. This is the first time I went there for the 20years I stay in Penang. Me and David ordered Hockien Mee and Thim ordered Curry Mee. I must give a credit to the Hockien Mee as its nice and cheap. I really like it.

There were a lot of "Wu Cher Moon" there. Its really surprise and really enlighten our morning. LOL. After breakfast, we just walked around the market a bit and then brought something back for our lunch. Well, we are lazy to come out for lunch later.

After home, I just rest a bit, took a short nap, surfing the net a bit...etc. At 2.30pm, I went to Gurney Plaza as I got a gathering with my secondary school friends, Chia Wei, who just came back from Australia for around 10days, Hock Chook, who I haven't met for like 4 years or even more and Cheng Chooi, who I have not met after Chia Wei's wedding.

We were having coffee at Dome. It was fun to catch up with them after so long and we are still bitching like we were at old school time. Its really good to know that everyone is doing ok in their life and moving from one step to another.



After the coffee, me and Chia Wei went for Fish Spa. It was really a fun experience. They have pool for small fish and slightly bigger one. Of course, we went into small fish pool at first. It was really ticklish and we were laughing hard. After while, we kind of get used to it and started to enjoy it. Later on, we went for the bigger fish poor. The ticklishness was really unbearable. We laughed even harder. After a few attempts, we were starting to enjoy it and it actually feel better than the small one. It was really a fun experience and I reckon you to try it at least once if you haven't. It cost RM38 per person for 30min. The stuffs are friendly too.

At Gurney Plaza, I met a primary school friend, Bee Ling and a friend from University, Lily and her hubby. What a small Penang. Later saying goodbye to Chia Wei at 6.30pm, I went to Tower Record to jolly jolly awhile as I meeting up with other friends at 7pm.

Kelvin aka pelican and Simon, Thim, Wayne and Lawrence, we went to Gurney hawker center to have our dinner. After dinner, me and Thim went home to get change and meet up again with them at Gurney Hotel at their room to have some liquor. There were some stupid games we played. We laughed so hard.

At around 11.30pm, we went to Momo. It has been more than 4 years I have not went to clubbing. Hmmm....it was kind of fun that night, but I really felt like I am not belong there. The music played are not the type I like, very loud, I can't dance, can't really drink and seeing those early 20's youngsters dancing and the way they shake their body...errr..I felt like am really old. Damn hate to admit that. LOL. The cover charge is expensive too RM50 per head.

We left around 2am plus and went to Mr. Pot for supper. When reached home, it was almost 4am. After taking a quick bath, just login onto net for awhile. Well, addicted !! To my surprise, there were few of my friends were also just login. Same as me, they just came back from clubbing. After some short chatting, went to sleep at 5am............til 12.30pm . LOL.

It was really a fun Saturday for me. :-)

Mid Autumn Festival

Still remember a year ago when I started my blog, it was Mid Autumn Festival as well. Now, one year has passed, time really flies.

Same as last year, we had a gathering at my house. We have Wayne & Lawrence, Hong & Yit, David, Thim and of course me. Before the dinner started, we were decorating a bit the balcony with lanterns that Yit brought. It looked really nice. I personally prefer this kind of lanterns then those plastic with light bulb in it. Well, of course it is safer but gee, it totally didn't bring of the festival mood and totally against the meaning of Lantern !!




This time, not me to cook, but the Siamese , Ah Lai. She...I mean he cooked us a lovely meals. (Gosh..I always get confuse of the he she thing. ) There were Loh Bak, Curry Chicken, Mang Kuang Char, tomatoes egg and Ah Sam Prawn. All dishes were yummy, I especially like the curry chicken. Ah Lai never failed us with his cooking. What a spectacular chef he is.



Not like last year, this year we did not do the wine thing. After dinner, we were just watching dvd that bought by Thim. Errr....forgotten about the movie title but it was Siam movie. Not bad to watch. We had moon cake as well during the movie. It was very nice of me to cook them some herbal tea. LOL. :-)


After the movie, we called it the night as most of us needed to work the next day. I am glad that we all could make it this year and I hope for the same for the coming years. I am glad that after so many years, we still make our afford to celebrate every occasion together and most important, to keep this friendship going. My life is different, better and more colorful because of you guys. Maybe I've never mentioned it, but you know I love you all. Friendship forever !! :)


Oh yes, before the movie thing, we were laughing so hard at the edited photos from each of us. It was Wayne who started it by touching up my years ago birthday photo and it made me look like Ursula from Little Mermaid. Whahaha. So, as a revenge, I did the same to his photo as well. Since it was so fun, so I can't help but edited other friends photos too. kekeke.
