Still remember a year ago when I started my blog, it was Mid Autumn Festival as well. Now, one year has passed, time really flies.
Same as last year, we had a gathering at my house. We have Wayne & Lawrence, Hong & Yit, David, Thim and of course me. Before the dinner started, we were decorating a bit the balcony with lanterns that Yit brought. It looked really nice. I personally prefer this kind of lanterns then those plastic with light bulb in it. Well, of course it is safer but gee, it totally didn't bring of the festival mood and totally against the meaning of Lantern !!
This time, not me to cook, but the Siamese , Ah Lai. She...I mean he cooked us a lovely meals. (Gosh..I always get confuse of the he she thing. ) There were Loh Bak, Curry Chicken, Mang Kuang Char, tomatoes egg and Ah Sam Prawn. All dishes were yummy, I especially like the curry chicken. Ah Lai never failed us with his cooking. What a spectacular chef he is.
Not like last year, this year we did not do the wine thing. After dinner, we were just watching dvd that bought by Thim. Errr....forgotten about the movie title but it was Siam movie. Not bad to watch. We had moon cake as well during the movie. It was very nice of me to cook them some herbal tea. LOL. :-)
After the movie, we called it the night as most of us needed to work the next day. I am glad that we all could make it this year and I hope for the same for the coming years. I am glad that after so many years, we still make our afford to celebrate every occasion together and most important, to keep this friendship going. My life is different, better and more colorful because of you guys. Maybe I've never mentioned it, but you know I love you all. Friendship forever !! :)
Oh yes, before the movie thing, we were laughing so hard at the edited photos from each of us. It was Wayne who started it by touching up my years ago birthday photo and it made me look like Ursula from Little Mermaid. Whahaha. So, as a revenge, I did the same to his photo as well. Since it was so fun, so I can't help but edited other friends photos too. kekeke.
